Fort Road / Jalan Kota

Fort Road, now called Jalan Kota, is a road that goes around St Paul's Hill. It traces the floorplan of Fortaleza de Malaca, the medieval fortification that once encircled the hill, which was then called Malacca Hill. Today the buildings along Fort Road are converted to museum, in keeping with the trend to turn Malacca into a museum state. The road starts at Dutch Square and ends at the junction with Jalan Chan Koon Cheng, next to the Dutch Graveyard.
